Application and General Info
We have been blessed in the last 14 years with thousands of people choosing Crafters Fair as their preferred shopping destination. It is this markets goal to create a platform for small South African Businesses and creators to sell their amazing products.
Complete and submit the application form by emailing it to karibugifts@gmail.com or khaya@polka.co.za. Make sure to complete the application form thoroughly and attach pictures of your products, stall and an inventory list (only products approved by Crafters Fair will be allowed on the market).
An email will be sent confirming that the application form was successfully submitted. This does not mean that you have been selected, only that we have received your application form and it will now go through a selection process.
We will be looking at your attached pictures and inventory list submitted with your application form for the following:
- Product originality, uniqueness and innovative design.
- Variety – that similar products are not repeated in different stands and that we maintain standards and avoid overlapping of products. Each category has an allocated percentage of floor space. Even though we are excited about your product you may not be selected because of limited space and overlaps.
- Quality.
- Availability – we strive to bring our clients unique locally made products although we will not restrict participation in other markets, we are therefore careful to not select applicants/products that are over exposed at other markets in the same area as our market.
- Capacity to produce and deliver.
- Participating in all Crafters Fair markets.
On successful selection of your products we will forward more information on our market.
Crafters Fair is a gift market. Therefore, we will focus on products we believe would sell best as gifts.
Crafters Fair uses a barcode system. Every exhibitor gets their own unique code.
We also make use of a central pay point system.
